Love some good smoked ham! 😀

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

KM4LBG technician in Sterrett. When Cell phones got hit a couple weeks ago you didn't have to wonder about the HAM radios working. They will not be affected by that kind of breech.

I got my technician license about a week ago. Think I'm going to take the test for General later this year.

General here. W4DOB. But I don't use it much now. But I can if I need to. I fool with radio all day, don't do it when I get home. Kinda like the cobblers kids have no shoes.

KJL470 used to be our 2-way call sign at the paper mill.

I have still got 2 Cobra 29s, Uniden Grant, and Grey 300 kickers incase all the grid goes to hell.

This has been on my list for over 30yrs. One day I’ll make the time and get the general license. Not much interested in the SW stuff but find it neat that you could talk to someone really far away.

I have my general but really have never needed it.
I operate on 2m/70cm most of the time.
I just moved up because I had some HF equipment I wasn't using.
Passed the exam for the general class and moved up from a tech, then sold the equipment to buy gun tools.
The only radio I currenlty have hooked up is a dual band Yaesu in my office,
I have a crap ton of vairous HTs as well but rarely turn them on unless bad weather is coming,
They do offer piece of mind knowing you can communicate if power and cell service gets knocked out though

I may have met your dad. I took my test with the radio club that meets in Andalusia.
