I’d say not as much as corn. They do require a good bit more potassium than average I would say

Looks very good!!
Planted mine with a new spreader and they coming in a little think. Proud of the germination rate but coulda used 60-50% success rate.

That’s a new pond just built with draining pipe on the dam in the background

Right smack in the middle of the dove field

They just finished it last week and left about 10 acres of bare packed down white
limestone dirt.

They are late. I lost a month due to wet ground.

It will be close for the opener but I’ve got a good bit of brown top to cut.

I planted a lot of millet and sorgham 3 weeks ago this Saturday and of course it dried up. But this morning we got a steady soaker so I should know what I've got and what the birds didnt get in a week or so, and it should have enough time left to mature.

Side note - it appears (fingers crossed) the kudzu is finally dead. It took 2 years of nonstop warfare but it's looking like I finally got the upper hand. And ironically the brief drought may have been a factor in it. I crossbowed it 2 times and it burned it up good and due to the weather it had no moisture to rebound. That may have been the key.

We got enough but right across the river they got zero. It's getting really toasty up here. Maybe they will get some this weekend.
