I went and hung with a henned up bird for a couple hours until they frolicked over on to someone else. He didn’t gobble one single time. I just happened upon them slipping around. Yesterday they lit it up in the wind. Something had them shut up today. Hunted from daylight to 1pm, made about a 4-mile loop around the property. Sign everywhere, not a peep. They lit it up last Saturday.

I’m a little late to the party, but there is zero cell service up here on Red Hills. Drove up this morning and staying the night on the WMA.
Got one gobbling on the roost right where I’d hoped he would be, set up and repositioned when he wasn’t quite where I thought he was. Came in a hen not long after I sat down. After gobbling twice on the limb he gobbled 3 more times in two hours. Never really moved. Tried to slip around the backside on him with no luck. Hoping to get him in the morning or get closer.
After playing with him I ran a few ridges and struck one from the end of a finger ridge that had a 60ft drop straight down. Back tracked and got down on his level. Set up and called, waited 30 minutes. Nothing. Cut the distance in half to where I thought he was and he struck again. Set up… 30 minutes of silence. Nothing. By this point it was 12:45 so I hit him one more time and he gobbled further than I heard him any time before.
Either way it was a great day. Windy as all get out but they’re talking and I’m sure tomorrow will be great!

I didn't hear a thing today. Hopefully that will change tomorrow. Even brought out the big box call to buck the wind.
