Suckers. 🤣 I got $600 back from AL & $3100 from the Feds.
I should add that this is the first time I’ve ever gotten a refund, so I’ll probably get audited and owe thousands.

Paid my *Estimated Quarterly Tax.
I get the pleasure of being rear ended by the Govt FOUR TIMES per year paying quarterly estimates for THIS year. If I could pay a 10% flat tax, I could hire 6-8 more employees. Let's see, would that benefit the government, or WE the people? I'm confused. I'm ready to throw some tea in the water. The Redcoats aren't coming, they're already here. Oh yeah, I could just take all the money that's left (profit) out of the business and KEEP it. Isn't that what us "rich" *cough cough* business owners do?? OH yeah, I can't. I have to have operating expenses. The government profits more from my business than the business does. TAXATION IS THEFT!!! Oh, but if I don't pay, I get arrested... I'll just be quiet boss, sit ova heuh in the cowner.

I don’t even like to talk about it anymore. The estimated payment they wanted me to pay in December was more than my wife’s annual salary. After I dog cussed with the CPA, I made some last minute money moves and got it down to a point to where I forced myself to just stomach it.
The fool tells me his reasons; the wise man persuades me with my own.

I had to mail in an additional $4300 in addition to the $18000 they already got. Tax collecting is the worst sin.

So; I am submitting my State tax return payment and got to thinking about all the problems with theft of checks in mail. From the address; anybody knows there is a check inside AND the voucher has our SSN #'s. Not good; but don't think they take PayPal This is why I file mine electronically. My accountant filed my return electronically; but I have to send a payment with the voucher to the State?
