I have a bit of a different take on it than most. I think Iran did it with warning because they didn't want to get the full brunt of Israeli retaliation and also it was a big test of Israel's defense systems and to see who will come to their aid. I think Israel should respond however they think they need to for their safety and not how the double talking US administration thinks they should. Same thing with Hamas, which they are doing.

The attack worked in some respects. The Dems are blocking Iron Dome extra funding unless Ukraine also gets funding. Iran basically put Biden in the drivers seat.

Any attempt by Iran to detonate a nuke inside the borders of Israel would fail. I do agree that Israel should set them back a few hundred years though. Iranian leadership are some jacked up fanatics.

If they have a big parade without fear of being hit in the middle of it then you know its a total farce of a conflict. Only an idiot would gather large numbers of their military in an open spot that Israel can hit whenever they want. And if they do have a parade Israel should at least shoot something at them during the parade just for being stupid.

This was payback for Israel bombing Iran's embassy in Damascus. Eye for eye, Israel shouldn't respond. Allow Iran its ineffectual face-saving show of force.

I don't support Israel. I don't support Iran. I have no love for either one, and no reason to love either one. The only nations I reserve my love and loyalty for are America and to some extent, our other anglosphere brother nations.

They were certainly chosen for a purpose, which was to bring Gods son, aka Jesus Christ into the world. That is exactly the purpose they were chosen for. Then they denied he was the son of God and crucified him as a blasphemer. And every one of the children of Israel who died denying Jesus is in Hell right now where they will beuntill they are cast into the lake of fire. They were absolutely chosen as the lineage Jesus would be born through, at which point whosoever will was chosen. I dont owe Abraham anything or any of his descendants
However, i do owe Jesus everything and thats a debt i can never repay, even if i spent every waking hour of my existence here trying to.

I'll bow out of the religious debate but depend on what many biblical scholars say about it. The Jews are God's chosen people and always will be. I've never heard otherwise from anyone that has studied it. Now I have heard various ideas about the Jews before Jesus getting into heaven. Even some that seem to think that modern day Jews will not be excluded. I don't go quite that far, but I've heard good arguments made for it.

After the initial attack by Hamas, I saw Franklin Graham deliver a message in TV. I took his advice and daily have prayed "for peace in Jerusalem and that Israel's enemies be driven from their land so they can live in peace".

Jawbone, the Jews that got into heaven before Jesus got here, got there by looking ahead to Jesus the Messiah, who all the prophets said would come. They made sacrifice every year being obedient to that plan. While Jesus was here, some of the Jews believed on him and was saved. Some did not believe. Some still dont believe. Now, im not a bible scholor by any means but i know Jesus Christ is the only way any human will ever get to heaven. There is prophetic scripture concerning the end times before the Earth is destroyed that could be argued as far as the Jews having an appointment with God. Ive heard it taught with scripture backing it up both ways. But one side is likely as right as the other. Im not knocking what you believe concerning the Jews. Alot of people do believe that way. I believe the way i believe because of the studying ive done on the subject according to what the bible says. I dont think it really matters a whole lot to you and me. Thats kinda what the Lord showed me. It dont have anything to do with me personally. I know where im going.

The Church is God's chosen people. God chose the ancient Israelites as the vessel through which his Word would be revealed to the world, and the vessel through which the Messiah would come. God's promises were fulfilled to the Jews with Christ's crucifixion and resurrection. The Jews of the modern era are not special, they must believe in Christ in order to receive redemption and salvation just as any other sinner.
