I was told that was exactly what happened to Southern Sash. The owner told them to go back to work come Monday or I’ll shut her down. That’s was a Friday afternoon. Monday morning some were still striking and that was that. The guy that told me that I’d bet knew exactly what he told me to be true. It was a thriving business building doors and windows and all that was left was the building supplies and they closed that a few years later. Al those empty white building in Sheffield is where they manufactured the doors and windows. The pole barns between the tracks is where the store front was.
