Springhill Toyota in Mobile is darn good, I've bought 2 cars from them over the phone got treated right and they drove them up here for me. I'll look up my guy's name tomorrow.

The guy misquoted the interest rate and also didn't get my daughter the college graduate reduction in rate. That was actually 2 separate issues. The next problem was, the paperwork sat on someone's desk at the dealership and didn't get filed properly. Toyota financing had no paperwork on the deal, so they couldn't accept her first payment, yet her first payment was technically late because of some paperwork that wasn't filed. I told them if that showed up on a credit check that they would be talking to my attorney the next day. It was such a complete and total screw up that I asked the salesman for the owner of the dealership to call me. Mark Brickie or something to that effect. He HAS NEVER called me. I own a freaking business too. I don't make car dealership money, but I told the salesman that any time I got a good chance to run the dealership down, that I would publicly do so. So there I went. I have too much respect for my customers for me to "blow off" a request that one might make for me to call them.

Well don't go to thinking that the dealerships in Gadsden or Scottsboro are any better.

Team-One in Gadsden assured us that the car my wfe was getting had navigation and lane departure warning after i said I'm pretty sure it doesn't. They wouldn't make it right.

High Country in Scottsboro took most of the day to process the purchase on my Tacoma because of some new software. Then I had to meet up them twice in the next two weeks to re-sign some messed paperwork.

Also, there isn't a dealership, salesman, tech, or geek alive that knows how to clear a Toyota app download error.

I've had good experiences at Sand Mt. and favor them over High Country or Bill Penny.
Went to High Country with my daughter last Saturday, they have a bunch of women, AKA girl ,salespeople . Daughter is shopping for a new kid hauler and wanted me to go along since her husband was at the A day game. She drove a new Grand Highlander , I was asking questions about this and that , how stuff works and such, many the sales girl couldn't answer . She said folks never ask about that stuff. slap

"Why do you ask"?

I bought a new Camry last year from Toyota of Newnan. They had the best deal I could find online within a reasonable driving distance. However the buying process did take longer than I would have expected.

Bill Penny was a nightmare to deal with last summer

They tacked an additional $1k into my paperwork behind my back and even gave me fake receipts to hide it.

Luckily I had my original receipt and after driving up there and raising hell, they fixed it. They all worked together to steal from me. It was one big plan they had now that I looked back and thought about it.
