We had them in hale county the last go around, I’m guessing ‘08 or ‘09 timeframe. They were crazy loud. I’ve read and seen some pics about them this year but haven’t actually seen them yet.

Just now hearing them steady, north of town. I could hear a constant, faint buzz the last week, but now it is growing louder and closer.

Is this a rolling hatch of some sort? I'm in central Alabama and drive all over. Haven't seen or heard a thing..

They are thick as thieves here in Leighton (Northwest Corner). Fire ants are having a feast on them!

I can't stand a thief.

I prob saw a hundred today. Flying and landing on trees. I even had one land on my face mask. Sucker was crawling on the ground and I can sure see why a turkey would eat him up.

Big sound, not just the normal sound, I’m also hearing a screaming sound. It’s eerie.

I live in the western part of Wilcox County about 5 miles from the Clarke County line and they are very loud here.
