There’s only certain counties these cicadas live in AL. It’s far northeast, some east central and southeast. They pick back up in parts of MS, but are absent from a lot of AL. They’re different than the annual green cicada we see every year. I don’t think we will see any in most of west and NW AL. We have them thick on Dauphin Island every year. Haven’t heard them yet this year though.
