Growing up in the 60's/70's we called them June Bugs. They would shed there outer shell and it would be stuck on pine tree bark mostly....looked like a pork skin! You called cicadas June Bugs? These are June bugsYeah that one got me. June bugs are June bugs and cicadas are cicadas. And Japanese Beetles are Japanese Beetles. Well what is a katty did? Some of you would just be too much fun to hang around with.
