Insurance increases all across the board, seems to come down to one common factor. LAWYERS! They sue for any ridiculous reason and win. The government needs a serious look into these abuses of the lawyers and insurance companies. They are just like politicians and scratch each other's back, while padding their wallets with insurance increases.
And guess what qualifies you to be a judge! And why do we have a judicial system? To keep the other branches of government in check? Seems like a dog chasing its tail here Sounds like you are defending the lawyers & insurance companies! I may be wrong, and have been before because I'm just a dumb old, retired firefighter. Your govt is not going to look into a dang thing happening in the insurance and legal businesses, because those same insurance companies and trial lawyer groups are both leading donors to the Washington political class. Just give it up. Aint happening. Why do you think that tort law has never seen any meaningful reforms. They, along with the federally appointed and elected judges, are all pushing the same rope, keeping the system clogged up and making money hand over fist, and gaining power, by doing it.
