Do people really need a SxS? Man I see a lot of used ones for sale. The prices on new ones are astronomic. I have a 4x4 truck and a Honda atv and can get done everything I need to. As posted previously, a used old Toyota Taco would be good too. I have 2 Honda products and they have been outstanding.

I have a mule pro and would buy another one. I think the Hondas are also pretty good. I have had my mule for about 6 years, all farm work and hunting, not a mud toy. I had some mice chew on some wires once and now I have a tear in the sidewall of a tire. I did have a plug wire that developed an electric track. Otherwise, mine has been great.

My neighbor has a honda and has had to replace a couple axles but he has more miles on his.

Especially for spraying and a water rig for burning.

"Cull" is just another four letter word...

Ive said this before, but the only bad thing about the pioneer is that the fender design causes everything to be covered in mud. If you dont have to drive in mud then they are great.

A SxS will go places a truck never will solely because of the weight. You would constantly stay stuck trying to work off of a truck in muddy places year around. Just the facts

I know lots of farmers who drive their SxS more than a vehicle during a normal work week. Poultry and cattle and hay.. I have a friend who has his equipped with blinkers and radials…

People drive them everywhere where I live. Kids even drive them to school. Sometimes the bars and restaurants have more sxs than cars. People in them all over the plave. It has gotten out of control. The rule was originally only on county roads or state highways within 5 miles of residence. But, nobody enforces the rules, so people just drive them all over. It is like Peachtree City for SXSs.

Basically, they are treated like farm equipment. No taxes, licensing, or insurance requirements. Folks have $5000 cars and $30k sxs all over the county. Surprised there arent more deaths.

I had one for 10+ years. Great work vehicle. Rear hydraulic hookups and bed. If I had a working ranch I would get another one or the mule.

But yes, they arent winning any races.

I love the Polaris Rangers. I read all the comments downing them and why Kawasaki, Kubota, Honda, etc., are better, but i was on my yesterday afternoon and thought about how good it has been. It's a 2013 900. All I've done is change the oil and filters and changed the belt one time. It is used every day just to check the place, to load feeders, spray, pull a spreader or a Firminator. I can't see there being a better combination of sport and utility.

I added fender flares to all of mine. Cuts that down a lot.

I have the Honda 700 and I have experience this before. Same as you, on really cold mornings. I thought I had a transmission problem but it seems to be just that cold morning.

There are many Pioneer 700 owners that say it likes being over filled slightly with oil. They usually fill it to half way between the full mark and where the dip stick changes from flat to round. I'm not sure if that helps your issue or not. And many swear that switching to Amsoil has made a noticeable difference.

I have A Polaris 2013 900 xp and a 2023 1000 Honda . Not sure which one is better but I can say the front seat on the Honda will cook you . I think the Polaris has a much better aftermarket dept. . the Honda rides really nice and takes the rough stuff much better . I have trashed the Polaris and it has never failed me . I think the new rangers are the way to go if you work with your sxs ?

I can't imagine what people did before them. I guess I'm not old enough.

I fill mine to the top of the fill line.
