Does anyone here any experience with the Mcarbo trigger spring for the 870?
Recently traded into a 870 youth 20ga that I would mind the trigger being a bit better

I put one in my 835. Don’t remember the exact amount but it definitely helped

Yes, it makes a world of difference. Thats the very first thing I do to my turkey guns.

Did wonders for my SA28. Much lighter, but I wouldn't say any smoother.

Well I decided to try something before buying the Mcarbo.

I snipped about 1.5 coils off the sear spring, it was a major improvement and I think for now I’ll hold off on buying the Mcarbo.

I used the fine stone out of a Lansky knife sharpening kit to smooth out the sear/trigger engagement surface on an 870 I had. It took literally one minute of work to change it from a trigger that was unusable to one that was very good.
