It is a winter weed, and at this point, it isn’t worth spraying as it is done for the year. It’ll be dead soon anyway. Use a PRE next year for control. I’d recommend Esplanade for best control, but it is expensive. Most any PRE will provide some control.


If you do the things you need to do when you need to do them then someday you can do the things you want to do when you want to do them.

There are a few products that will control it POST, but I can’t say if they are safe on clover. Products that contain rimsulfuron, foramsulfuron, or flazasulfuron may be worth a look.
