Had a little ribeye action to kick off the weekend

First post this weekend.

Gonna be smoking some ribs Monday. My pics never come out as good as y'alls.

Put together a quick hibachi when we got off the water. Chicken, steak, rice w/ peas, eggs soy sauce. Zucchini, broccoli, mushrooms and teriyaki sauce.

Grilled boneless thigh - also seared onion and mushroom with beef broth and Parmesan cheeses - covered thigh in this on plate. Also Stuffed mushroom with pork ground sausage and cream cheese and seasoning amd cheese. Also grilled squash amd deer sausage. Cucumber and onion salad with nut mixture with olive garden dressing - also had fruit salad (blueberry - strawberry - banana and apple). Seared mushroom and onion with beef broth over the grilled thigh was awesome - but it all good

Been working my arse off in the yard today and just put together a taco salad for an easy dinner.

Seasoned ground meat on chips, Romaine lettuce, Monterey jack cheese, avocado, salsa, and a few jalapeno peppers.

Eats really good.

today took them to lake crisco with hush puppies and coleslaw on the side.

Turned out mighty fine!

Pork spare ribs, smoked baked beans, deviled eggs, and green beans.

Put 17# of pork butts on the smoker at 10:30 last night. They are stalled at 197, waiting on them to finish up. Then will wrap them and put em in the cooler.


We got all the neighbors and the kids coming over to eat and swim, got some baked beans, cole slaw, chips, peach cobbler and vanilla bean ice cream.

Looks like we will also be cutting a sweet gum at some point that the storms blew down On my next door neighbor’s. It’s gonna be a great day!

Our take on Philly cheese steaks. Thinly sliced ribeye, bell pepper, onion, provolone, mayo and mustard (mixed) on soft oversized buns. Grilled corn, squash and onions, chip and dip. All of my entries were cooked on a blackstone. I'm pretty new to flat grilling. (4-5 wks)

No special cocktails but I did enjoy a few of these out on the deck watching the boats go by.

Been smoking ribs and cream cheese today, might get them turned in. But I'm starving, maybe not! Lol.

Our Memorial Day food. Put Boston butt on smoker yesterday at 4pm and wrapped in foil around 9am today. Took off about 11 and let rest an hour. Ribs were done the 3-2-1 method with sweet heat rub, then wrapped with butter, honey and apple juice. Then uncovered for one hour( one without BBQ sauce). Made pickle onions, made a Kentucky pecan pie. Made a squash casserole, deviled eggs. Great posts as always. I always enjoy seeing what everyone makes. We have some talented chefs here for sure! Put some spare ribs on the smoker today and paired it with some bbq beans, potato salad, and corn salad. It didn’t last long.

Baby back ribs; country style ribs cubed up like burnt ends; jalapeño and cheddar deer sausage; cabage salad with feta, onions, peppers and tomatoes with an oil & vinegar dressing.

Almost there

Didn't make it to camp so was limited in what i could do at the house cause my bigger smokers are at camp. Anyways Wife been nagging about the 2 hams in freezer so decided I'd smoke one up and Wooooo yea was MIGHTY FINE! Was my youngest sons first hog too! I ended up making some crawfish mac n cheese this go around, and yep i forgot my good tails at Mama's and had to go back Saturday 🤦🏿‍♂️ But i done that and tried something new which will definitely do again, and that was bacon wrapped smoked raviolis (4 cheese) and done little bit of jalapeños n cheese sausage and some Boudin. I got creative with my raviolis i smoked a half pint of Oyster's and topped mine and put on a bed of creamed spinach! BUT can see made a rookie mistake (was long weekend 😂) i had a few pics and you can see little piece of shell and i ended up deleting the Pic after removed it lol, and i done hammered away so there wasn't no redo, but happens when ya deal with 'em. Would've definitely done some ribs, but didn't have the time or space, but was a great Weekend. Oh tired a few new beverages lol....
