The realtor told me they asked about a charging station for their EV and if they could convert the garage into a grow operation. I was told they want to use the spare bedroom for religious services. That's a childish statement in an online discussion about flags. If I stand up for what I believe in, how does that make me a coward? I believe there is no reason that outweighs someone thinking I hate them (racism) if I'm thought of as a racist, how can anyone find value in what I say about Jesus? Like I said it's your right to do what you want. I just wanted to know what the reason was. So far, no one has presented a good reason to fly it. A good reason to me anyways. But it is your right, I respect that right, I would die for that right if my country asked me to do so. It's what makes America great. I can tell it's a sore subject with a lot of yall. But I was genuinely asking for reasons that you fly it... so maybe I could say yeah that reason is worth being labeled as a racist.

Think about this...

Your daughter grows up loving rainbows. So when she gets a car at 16 she wants a big rainbow sticker or rainbow flag to put on it. You gonna let her do that? Of course not, she will be labeled as a lesbian. No Bible believing father would allow their daughter to do that.

Or better yet YOU love rainbows because of what it represents to Christians. I love them. I stop and take a picture of them if I can. Or point them out to the people around me. Most people do. But I wouldn't dare fly a rainbow flag. Any kind of flag with a rainbow is a no go for probably 100% of the people on this forum. Why? Because our love for rainbows isn't greater than someone thinking I'm gay. As it is with everyone else on here.

I feel the same way about the confederate battle flag. And so far I haven't heard a reason that is greater than being labeled as a racist. If you wanna say FU to the government or whatever, surely there is a better way that doesn't involve the banner flag of the KKK.

Some of you might not mind being labeled a racist because you are a racist. And that's FINE! It is your RIGHT to believe whatever you want in America. And you get zero judgement from me, racism just isn't me. It used to be because I looked up to people in my family that were racist. But the Lord convicted me of that years ago. But if you are good with it, it's OK. That's your right and that's your freedom.

But don't hide behind another reason for flying that flag. I was called a coward on here for standing up for a belief that I knew probably wasn't going to be very popular. I really didn't think I would be called some of the names I was called but that's ok. So if you are racist and that's why you fly that flag, stand up for your beliefs like I did.

Pwyse, the rainbow is a symbol God gave us when he destroyed all life on earth with water. It was his promise to us that he wouldnt do it again, that next time it would be by fire. Thats what the rainbow is and always has been since the first rainbow God put in the sky. I love rainbows. I take a picture of about every one i see. I pray my daughter is as fond of rainbows as i am. If she wants to put a rainbow sticker on her car, when she gets a car, thatll be just fine. It would be a fine opportunity to explain what rainbows really are and really mean to those ignorant enough to believe they are a symbol of an abomination such as homosexuality. God himself said those are worth of death as well as those who have pleasure in them. So we will just tell the truth about that matter.

LOL, kind of like my 28yrs of military service landed me in Oregon with millions of public acres to hunt for free makes some of these dumb asses call me a democrat.

I didn’t call you a coward but you’re admitting that you let homosexuals deny you the enjoyment of displaying rainbows. My ancestors fought under a flag like the one in my yard. They were brave and honorable men who fought in some of the fiercest battles ever fought. The man in my avatar was wounded at the bloody angle in Spotsylvainia. I fly it to honor them, because it’s a beautiful flag, and I like it. l’ll be damned if I’m gonna take it down because a bunch of racist assholes try to co-opt it. They also fly the Stars and Stripes.

It might be more effective if you tell them that they are worthy of Christ giving His life for them. That will probably resonate more with them. Especially since God himself said we are all worthy of death if we don't have Him. Not just the homos.
