Texas coast. Been there and seent it. I saw probably 3,000 or more redheads come off of roost one morning. Absolutely crazy!
We killed bluebills, redheads, pintails, teal of all sorts, mallards, gadwalls, shovelors, snow geese, and I don’t remember what all else down there.

Always wanted to get a pintail to mount. One of the prettiest ducks in my opinion.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

You want to hunt the Laguna Madre in South Texas during January. You've got to hunt ducks when the season is open and it ain't open in March. Typically the season closes tail end of January but I would go as far as checking the regulations for this particular species. Down in Mexico they might shoot them year-round I have no idea but you couldn't pay me to cross the border down there right now.
No idea on a guide down there we use to drag a boat down there and hunt it ourselves. We had some good hunting but we are also good at this.
Typically earlier in the season is better for the Pintails I think the Redheads are there just about all the time.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
