California just passed a reparations bill for $800 BILLION for anybody who is black-like-ish...close enough to get money. Only have to live there 3 months.  Our population may change overnight. That was just the first committee but it has strong support. Pundits say it is likely to pass.And Newsome will sign it.

So, their state income tax or sales tax are going to be about 90% out of the taxpayers' pockets to pay for all of that?! For the 2023/2024 year according to Forbes: The state income tax rates range from 1% to 12.3%, and the sales tax rate is 7.25% to 10.75%.If it passes we probably will see a mass migration of those who would meet the criteria, but they will lose those who are more affluent by droves. Several have already left for FL and TX along with some companies. So where is that tax base going to be then?

I thought California was broke. How are they going to pay this? They aren't..... WE ARE! As said once the Dems usher oatmeal brain out and Newsom in he will pass a budget/law that will give California the $$ from our tax dollars. Don't think that all this is not planned.

I just read the bill and from what I understand in the language, I support it. Shocker. 🤦🏽♂️ This is what I am reading. SB 1050 passed in a vote of 32-4. It would require the California Freedmen Affairs Agency to compensate families who have had their property taken from them in racially-motivated applications of eminent domain. The state reparations report outlined a number of instances of Black Californians being paid pennies on the dollar for their property that would be developed for public use. If the govt comes in and takes your property, the landowner should be compensated at fair market prices. I would support this bill for anyone, regardless of race. That's how I am reading this bill.
