Im fixin to put a suppressor and a thermal on a 22-250. I would also like to use the suppressor on a rimfire pistola. I guess its possible? Can someone recommend me a suppressor that would fit this equasion. I would also like a recommendation for the thermal, iwould like to be at $1500 or less on the thermal. I doubt ill be shooting much past 200yds but i would like to be able to shoot a coyote or coon at 200yds or so. I know absolutely nothing about thermals or suppressors by the way

You’ll want a user serviceable CENTERFIRE suppressor that’s rated for rimfire. A used Bering Hogster R and AGM Rattler might can be found close to your budget, but $1500 might be a bare minimum for serviceable thermals.

It’s possible if you get a serviceable one like almodux mentioned. 22lr’s are dirty.

But also keep in mind there’s pressure ratings so just because you get a 22cal supressor (like an AAC element meant for 22lr), doesn’t mean you can put a .223 through it.

Also, a 22lr supressor is usually about a quarter or so in diameter vs a most centerfire rifle suppressors being close to a 1/2 dollar in diameter. Not a huge deal unless you’re using iron sights for the rim fire pistol with a centerfire can.

Gonna be tough to find a decent thermal for 1500.00

I got a Pulsar XQ 38 for about 2500.00 It does everything I need it to do.

Centerfire rifle cans suck on pistols, they’re just way too heavy. Get your rifle can and then get a dedicated rimfire can later for like $350-400

This is a good thermal for $2K. Better hurry, 22 minutes remaining.

Ill take that in consideration, thanks
Yall are a bunch of Debbie downers about the price. I have another question. You can buy a 256 rattler for $1000 or less. What is the difference between it and the step up model? What kind of actual shooting yardage range would you get out of the 256? I would rather spend a little extra money than not get what im trying to accomplish

FWIW, some center fire rifle cans are lighter than pistol suppressors, and there are double duty 35-45 cal suppressors for running on both.

I believe silencer central runs a sale at some point during the year where you buy a silencer and get a .22 silencer free. I could be wrong but i think I remember seeing that

They do at times that’s what I did. Just have to buy tax stamp for both.

Are they good cans? Reviews on the internet are not so hot about silencer central. What’s your experience?

I have zero complaints about the banish 30 I have, OR their service/process. In some ways, they’re better than silencer shop, it’s also nice to have silencer shop vendors on every corner it seems. There is nothing wrong at all with their designs, they’re just more traditional in the way they build than some others. Folks downing them is usually over a personal mount preference or their modularity….performance is on par with other stuff of equal volume, but that’s from shooting them and other stuff. Unlike silencer shop, silencer central will fedex them to your door, once approved. Competitors down each other. I’ve got at least a couple of thousand rounds through my banish 30, and I like it better than the silencerco and YHM stuff I have. Just don’t buy 223-specific cans. I won’t do that again. My 308 cans work better on 223s than my saker 556. On a rimfire can, just make sure it’s rated for all the rimfires you might want to use it on….a 22LR ONLY can is like buying a 223 specific can: it limits use and is at a minimum performance threshold, not maximized for versatility.

No issues with my Banish 30 or Banish 22 rimfire. Best thing about the 22 is it’s rated up to 22 Hornet and 5.7x28 rounds, and is easily dissassembled for cleaning. Have used the 30 cal on 223, 22-250, 7mm Rem Mag, and 28 Nosler. It works well. Haven’t shot it in the short configuration but probably will when I hunt with it on the 22-250. So thankful the representative talked me into the 30 cal can, I was dead set on a Banish 223.

Go talk to these guys. They are close to you in Warrior and sell suppressors and thermals.

Not sure they they don’t have supressors on their website but they just received a shipment of suppressors.

Like others have said, you’ll want a dedicated rimfire suppressor and one for a centerfire rifle.
