If they trapped in Texas couldn't they be charged there too if done illegal I'm guessing the charges are for fraud, not the trapping.

So its gotten to the point ,,,,, We got bass tournament pros cheating in tournaments ( nothing new there ) and now cheating a hog walloping hunting contest ... what could possibly be next ? Meh paw n law n crew had to ban the Malone's from Squirrel shoots for pooling up Squirrels 20 year ago 🤣🤣🤣

just a fyi. Usually these competition are for for heaviest weight. Say its a 3 stringer. You enter how ever many hogs you catch ( In 48 hours or whatever) but the 3 heaviest hogs are what determines who wins. It could be a 5 stringer comp (heaviest 5 hogs etc)
Depending on the entry fee and how many teams entered determines payouts. Sometimes it can be up there.
Then there's sub categories you can enter. Like smallest hog, biggest cutters, biggest hog, most pigs, biggest sow etc. Usually like $150 per category per team.
We implemented a new rule last year, that you had to video it. Its a little harder to cheat and opens up to more contestants. Think there was even a team from Louisiana and Georgia who entered our local one last year. There's still ways to cheat, but its not as easy.
For without victory, there is no survival
