Fox is reporting it's J D Vance , Marco Rubio , Doug Burgum & Ben Carson. If true , my man , J D Vance will be Trump's man.

I just wish he would hurry up and pick someone. At least he hasn't announced that his pick will be a specific gender, and/or specific color like the current fubar in chief. He may or may not make the best choice but at least he has the good sense to pick based on qualifications, not because he likes their color.

Ben Carson would be interesting. I like Ben but I'm not sure he has it in him to be firm and make the hard decisions. He IS accustomed to having human life in his hands though, so he may surprise me.

Nope , I reckon he's been in Trump's corner for years . He's one of the very few Trump backed in '22 who won.

Vance is the only one from that group that would not be a disappointing pic.

Ben Carson for me. Easily the smartest man in the room, regardless of the room.

I think he needs a new list....... No Sir , Vance would be a great choice. His Hillbilly people come from Kentucky coal country , then relocated to Ohio ( what is now the rust belt). His Mamaw raised him cause his momma and daddy divorced . He joined the Marines out of HS and then on to college , ending up with a law degree from Yale. He's worked in the financial sector . Wrote a best selling book that became a movie . Then was elected Senator in Ohio. He's the poster boy for the American Dream. He's only 39 years old with Hillbilly street smarts as well as book smarts. Ohio has a Republican Guvner , so a Repub would be appointed to replace him.

He's the senator from Ohio. Repubs cannot afford to lose that senate seat which is what would most likely happen if he becomes VP. Whoops didnt see 2Dogs post. I thought Ohio had a Dem gov. I'm good with him or Carson. Hard pass for me on Rubio, not sure on Doug.

I'm good with any of the four when I look at the current Veep that is running to keep that office, at least that is where it stands right now. Seriously, no problem with any of them. I can think of positives and minor negatives on all of them.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
