Grandview sucks like hell, I wouldn't go there again for any reason.

Only a hand full of hospitals from the middle of the state north that won't be owned by UAB or Huntsville Hospital. I hate to say it, but if anyone believes that this will help with the cost of their health care or the quality they receive, they're wrong. Exactly. This is bad news for patients. Why?? Gov't mandated monopolies are NEVER good for consumers. UAB is a state agency. Never forget that.

The current healthcare model is to either go big or go home. This has to do with reimbursement rates and the large number of uninsured patients. Huntsville Hospital has staked out North Alabama as their home turf to keep UAB out of the market. Well, golly gee whiz, I wonder if we had built a dang wall at the border if we could have kept a bunch of uninsured folks from showing up for services. I mean we have our own fair share of those born here in the first place.
