Know someone whose EDC is still the Gen 1 that rides in the truck every day and it has never given him a problem. Clean the lint out once every few months and change out self defense rounds once a year. Have several friends that also bought the Gen 2 after he liked it so much and they are still carrying it daily as well. Great buy.
All the river wants is its fair advantage.

It was a 40, I just changed it over to a 9 to match the S&W FPC I picked up a while back.

Got the shield 2.0. 9mm .Very textured grip. No way to slip, fairly accurate, small, easily concealed. The negative to me is capacity. For the price get one and try it.
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

Skip the 9 and just go get the Shield 45. Love mine. The S&W M&P Shield 45 ACP has been my concealed carry for many years now. It has been a good un!
