Saw the smallest polts I’ve ever seen yesterday crossing the highway on a back road. They were the size of a baby chick. Usually they’re at least as big as a quail. Had to been born yesterday. They hunkered down in the middle of the road when I came by. Tiny.
The momma stepped off to the side, then came back out after we passed.
So born on 6/26-6/27 pretty late isn’t it? Nah they gobble/strut and breed whenever they find hens. May breeding is common
