Fire is the best thing to control ticks. More fire, fewer ticks. Cold weather doesn't kill them.

That’s awful. Seems like every deer I kill has little brown ticks on the white underbelly.

Back when I took the Hunter Ed course Rin had pics of fawns covered in ticks to the point I think Lille the fawns. The ticks would congregate at salt licks.

Make sure you’re sending fire every 2-3 years. Fire late growing season is magical. Not a fan of fire Nov-Feb but it has its small benefits.

Learned something here. number of legs is the dead give away . ive seen them bad on some deers belly and between the legs . i guess the deer are warmer there . seems like when the deer cools off the lice die pretty fast too .
