I’ve got about 10 boxes for my 9.3X62, for the price it’s been great.

I bought some in 7x57 mainly for the brass because rems, wins, and feds were north of $50 a box. Just for fun, I checked the OALs from 1 box. The measurements were all over the place. They grouped OK from my rifle, but the next two boxes, I'm going to seat the bullets to a uniform OAL. I loaded the brass after shooting the factory stuff and they did well.

You gonna pull them pistols, or whistle Dixie?

Back during the plandemic I bought a bunch of PPU ammo for the 6.5 Grendel and the 7.62x39 AR. I deconstructed some of both calibers for the brass. I weighed lots of the powder charges in the rounds and they were surprisingly consistent. As said above, the OALs were not very consistent. The few rounds I did shoot, shot very well.

PPU is good ammo (or at least the NATO ammo is). Got several battles packs a few years back and haven't had any issues with any of it. They use to make the monarch ammo for academy also, but noticed the newer ammo is made by Bernaul (think that's who it was)

PPU does, or did, supply a lot of the eastern block/euro ammo for Hornady. I’ve had good experiences with their 6.5 Grendel, 25-06 and 7.62x54R.

Its about all i use in off season for hogs. Never tried it on deer but im sure it would do just fine with good shot placement.
It does run a little dirty.

The PPU .45acp hollowpoint looks very close to the old Speer 200 grain flying ashtray and opens up very well in tests. Yes it's a bit dirty but all of it is.
