I’m liking this stock a bunch. I put it on a 30-30 that I already had a Champion synthetic forend on. If you use the ammo inserts whether 45/70 or 30-30 there is an amount of rattle.
I’m hoping and calling Magpul to push for a barrel band forend and straight stock.
It weighs with 2 spacers about 6 ounces less than the wood stock.
I would choose the Magpul Forend and RPP stock if you have a straight stock Big Whore.
I am hell on rifles, I do appreciate a traditional Leveraction but I’m just too dang hard on them. I only use Stainless Marlins. These Options are appreciated!
