Got the first picking off ours today. The neighbor set our field on fire accidently burning his trawh last yr and stunted most of mine back. If all 42 bushes i have ever all produce im going to be covered up in berries.

My sister came by and got about 3 quarts yesterday off mine. Not a bad year at all. Last years late freeze almost zero'd them out. I was able to water enough to keep the drought from killing them after the freeze tried. Always sumthin'

Fire raises the pH. You may want to put something on them to count we that

I applied some sulphur about a month ago. I need to soil test a couple of areas and see what it says.

Was able to pick a gallons worth today. Thats the most we have ever gotten off them since the fire set them back. From the looks of it we will get 1-2 more gallons off them.
The bird netting is really helping and the aluminum pie pans swinging in the breeze have helped keep the deer away.

The ones in my yard are loaded. Getting ripe earlier than usual. Ate a few today.

Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.

My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Let me ask a question from the experts. Do I need different varieties of blueberry bushes to produce? Wife found a bunch on sale and I have planted. Someone told the wife that we needed different varieties for cross polenate

I planted three different varieties. I picked a half gallon yesterday off six bushes.

Yes, always best ive been told to have cross pollinators.
I planted at least 10 different kinds so i have early, mid, and late season varities to have a longer picking season.

Picked about a gallon off of my bushes on Saturday and my wife made me blueberry pancakes for breakfast the morning of Fathers Day. Man, they were some count!

Picked about a gallon this morning before everybody got here for a cookout. Got them from one bush that was absolutely loaded, and still has plenty more to ripen. Wife put some of them in a big ole Blueberry Cobbler. Dee liss ieo so. There's enough for at least 2 more cobblers.

A little late for that. I believe there's a little left but it's not pretty like when she set it on the counter.
