This.......had a retired member of one of my leases do some research on the web about pedicle damage. This is what a high percentage of deformed racks are caused by.

Do you think it could do with our deer (AL) losing their horns due to being bumped in all this thick cover (planted pines, regen cutovers) when their not really fully ready to drop them?

Next year - bigger perfect side - nasty fork on other. 3rd year he had the pretty wall hanger side again - that looked same just bigger and he improved the other side and had 4 points but all an inch long I shot him that last year - 16 1/2 inch inside - 9 point that included a dagger point off the base. I know that was same deer - i think one side was always going to be sorry. We had him at 5 1/2 and he weighed 213 pounds when i shot him Hunt the wind - leave it better than you found it - love your neighbor as you love your self We need prayer for our country now more than ever
