They were US Marshall’s and stated that the car jacker pulled a gun on them.

I looked up story they claimed carjacker pull gun on them. They shot him 4 times once in the mouth. That don’t add up

Kyles it was 1:17 AM and Kentrell just wanted to check out those two dudes and his .40 was just in his hand that's all. Seriously though shooting out a car sear is not the most stable add in some adreline and you will shoot higher than you intend
And it's likely the shooter used a 9 which is why Kentrell was released from the hospital after treatment.

I read the shooter was a US Marshal. If true then that makes me believe that there was a credible threat made.

Isn't she the one with some health issues that is under heat to resign from the left so Biden could replace her with a younger one before Trump gets to appoint another one? They learned their lesson from RBG hanging on.

I hope they all stay in so Trump can appoint the new ones. Another story says he had 8 rounds in a 13 round clip and none in the chamber. He is young maybe just getting his career started

Must be the US Marshals that are rejected for real US Marshal work. Those guys are normally BA's. Account says that 2 US marshals both engaged the suspect with multiple rounds. Suspect was apprehended and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and released soon after.

I didn't know that was under the US Marshals scope.

When there is a creditable threat, they can come in. They can do pretty much anything when asked actually.

And, because of how things went after the abortion ruling they all got federal protection, but not secret service protection. There is a big difference. Those Marshalls may just be on overtime pay.

The marshals service absolutely is responsible for protecting the federal judiciary, not just in special cases or credible threats. They have an entire division dedicated to this. Usually the front line are “court security officers”, which are like armed security guards for federal courthouses.

It’s all politics. The Supreme Court has its own police force for protection inside DC, but congress didn’t give any money to expand the protection mission outside DC. So the AG assigned marshals to babysit, even though they already had that responsibility outside DC and in every federal courthouse. And of course he whined to congress about needing $500k per man per year to increase staffing to provide the “additional not really additional” coverage.

Her fat ass isn't going anywhere. She will die in a diabetic coma before she steps down
