I've never used Clethodim before and need to spray some on some pea patch plots I planted. Is there anything specific I need to pay attention to when selecting one? I found "Clethodim 2E" 26.4 % made by Albaugh/Agristar on Amazon. $78 for a gallon. Anything wrong with this or suggestions for a better choice? I had checked at TSC and local co-op.....neither were very helpful. I know I need to get a surfactant.......Thanks for any help.

I'm actually ordering some today. I use Keystone Pest Solutions. 89.99 for 2 1/2 gallons. Shipping will depend on what else you get. I usually try to order enough to maximize shipping cost per item. Very good resource even if you don't buy from them, lots of info available for each product. You can also search by crop and see all chemicals that work for each crop.

make sure to calibrate your sprayer, it’s pointless and possibly detrimental to spray it if you don’t know exactly how much your putting out

Give me bout 15 more minutes, I was dreamin about beavers..........

I think you use crop oil mixed with it, which is different from surfactant

Yes, you're right about the crop oil, thanks for correcting

Cleth is not a very good grass killer this late in the year and as dry as it is in some places. It’s much more effective on early growth. Just an FYI.

ok, thanks. I planted really late (6-28) and killed everything before planting so maybe will be ok. The pea patch and grass weeds are growing about the same rate right now, so trying to knock them back. Is there a good source for clethodim/crop oil around Shelby county area? I'm having hard time finding it in any local stores.
Is there a better chemical to use on this now?

This. Dont expect great results out of spraying foot high grass

If the grass has already went to seed, no sense in spraying. Even if it does by some miracle kill the grass, it'll just resprout from all the seed.
