If you haven't listened to Bongino's podcast during all this you should. He says he has a lot of close friends currently in the SS and they feed him a ton of inside information. I'm assuming he is telling the truth but who knows.

Today he said that SS agents told him that 2 sniper teams were SS and 2 were LE. One of the LE teams were supposed to be posted on the roof of the building the shooter used. For some reason, that team decided to use a second story window in that building instead. The team didn't communicate this to the rest of the group very well. This might explain why it took so long for LE to believe what all the attendees were saying. I'm sure the LEO were thinking yeah we know there's a guy on the roof with a rifle, he's part of our team. It might would also explain any confusion from the other 3 sniper teams.

He didn't have a reason as to why the team made the decision to not get on the roof. I'm betting it was hot as heck and they were lazy and wanted some AC. I'm betting they used the sloped roof as an excuse. Now, I agree that the SS director needs to be fired. No question. This screw up is still on the SS and falls on her. But if you remember, she initially made the comment that SS was in charge inside the perimeter and LE was in charge outside of the perimeter. Well she got a lot of backlash on that and kind of recanted it and said SS was ultimately responsible. Then she said the reason the guys weren't on the roof was due to the slope. This is why I think the cops used that as their excuse when pressed about why they never got on the roof.

I said before I don't always agree with Dan. He connects some dots sometimes that I don't believe are really connected. But if the info he is sharing is true or t makes a lot of sense.

The LE sniper team may have been inside the Bldg but as far as them being posted in 2nd story window that is absolute horsechit and easily refuted by photos. That Bldg doesn’t even have a second story and the only windows that are there are ground level.

I keep hearing folks say "that metal roof is hot" . Its not hotter than any car roof in every Walmart parking lot this time of the year.

AGR has a big footprint. I'm pretty sure I saw a 2 story building there. They even took a pic of him from the 2nd floor.

They could have thrown down a couple of those big moving quilts. The hot, steep roof dog won't hunt.

The adjacent Bldg is multi story BUT the Bldg DiGiorno(typo intentional) is talking about in his podcast specifically states is the one the “shooter” was on. IF they were in the 2nd story window of that adjacent Bldg then they would have had a very clear view of the shooter and only a 25-30yd shot to take him out.

Beyond a shadow of doubt it is the guy in charge of the SS at the event fault. He should be fired. The director is at fault for putting that guy in charge. She should be fired.

To be honest I'm really more interested in how and why the decisions and events unfolded than who's at fault. I'm more interested in reasons not excuses. I believe there is a difference. So far I don't think the SS or LE have only given excuses.

One of my guys was eating lunch in the break room. He had Fox News on the TV. I walked by and he said” the local police just said on camera” We were only in charge of traffic. Anyone that says different is Lying or Covering Up “
