Kid Rock gave the murdered firefighters family $50k

That was cool to see and good to hear that 6.5 mil raised for the 2 families

I saw where the murdered firefighter's funeral was deemed to be at high risk for attacks and in need of enhanced security protection. Think about that for a minute. That means there are credible threats that people of a particular political persuasion want to murder people attending this man's funeral. Kind of brings into focus the evil we are up against.

I'd not accept it were it my family. Those wishing harm would need it more. I'd go on a rampage that would make world news.

Look at it like this. Trump's Campaign is not trying to convince us. He's got a lock on at least 80 million votes I don't know anyone who voted in 2020 for him that isn't ready to vote for him again.

He is trying to win the swing states. Bunch of hard working blue collar folks in these swing states that don't like Trump. I was talking to a guy in Ohio the other day that says he is Republican. I am not usually talking to people like him about politics but I asked him about JD Vance and he said he thought Vance was OK but that Trump wasn't "his guy". Democrats have blistered these markets with negative campaign everything. Orange Man = Bad.... 24/7.

Kid Rock is from Detroit and has a huge following. Dana White is a play on the UFC following which is significant and Trump has attended fights as part of the current campaign. Hulk Hogan isn't going to sway too many but the fact that he said it's time to speak out... Ok. That's a message we need to hear. Folks my age were all Hulkamaniacs he's been irrelevant for years but he personified "Merica!", although 100% fake, for most of the mid-late 80's.

Instead of scrutinizing who he did have think about who he didn't have... George W. Bush... Where was he? Where was Mitch McConnel? I don't recall an entire RNC going down without the leaders of our party speaking.

Must not be George W and Mitch's party any longer. Appears they gave up or know better this time around. The only one up there faking it is our very own little Rhino - Katie Britt.

No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.

It was a great speech for those that are already voting for Trump. It was typical Trump, tossing red meat to his masses. Granted he wasn't as bombastic or name calling like he has been previously which was a solid improvement but he still strayed off message and ad-libbed more than he should have. All I'm saying is that he missed the golden opportunity to potentially pick up a ton of votes that were tuning in, sympathetic to him after last weekend, and may or may not have been willing to move over to his side of the fence. 30-45 minutes, make sure that everything you say is 100% factual and supported by exact figures, dont say "the country and the economy were the greatest ever", say the market was up 41.6%, inflation was 1.46%, we created 10 million jobs prior to covid, we created 806,426 manufacturing jobs, minority unemployment was the lowest in history at 3.1%, real wages were up 14% compared to when I took over from Obama, avg gas prices were $2.21/gal. Completely eliminate, with facts and hard numbers, any possibility of the MSM or Demtards being able to call you a liar in a fact check. The problem with Trump, and his speeches, is that once he gets wound up, there is no stopping him and he wants to and does talk about anything and everything, and yes he tends to exaggerate just a tiny bit. I just looked and his speech was over 92 minutes last night. That is a new world record. Previous longest convention speech in history was like 70 minutes. That's where he missed the boat. Short, sweet, precise, and to the point. Present hard facts only, look in control, look good, and look presidential doing it. That's how you pick up those additional voters that you need to fully guarantee victory.

The problems I saw with the RNC is that the same people who put together the horrific Katie Britt rebuttal speech to the State of the Union address, also put together a lot of the RNC convention and presentation. A lot of unnatural forced marketing crap that was easy to see. Hulk being his cheesey character is fine with me, but when he switched to being "Terry" the regular guy, it did not come off that good.

Conservatives and right wingers are driven by facts, but a lot of times, moderates and left wingers are driven by feelings. It seemed, at times, the goal was to appeal to people's feelings.

I'd guess that feelings is what makes most people go vote

I think you are right. That's one reason the left gets people.

I agree 100%. I watched every minute of it. He had America in his hand and the best opportunity he will ever have to get those “on the fence” and maybe even some of the “never Trumpers” to commit to vote for him. I’m not sure he accomplished that.

Only 7% more people watched it over his speech last election at the RNC. That was surprising to me. I thought it would have been twice as many as 4 years ago. 25 million vs 23 million.

Those are the TV ratings. You need to look up how many watched and listened to it on-line. That’s where most people get their news and information now. Take your number and multiply if by 3-4X and there’s your real number for how many he had the opportunity to reach with that speech.

Yep , I agree no way of telling how many saw it on devices other than TV and have viewed it after the fact .

That's probably true. I have not found any numbers on online viewership numbers. How do you know it was 3-4 times the tv amount? I'm not saying you are wrong, I just couldn't find anything on it. I guess if tv viewership went up 7% you would expect that to carry true across the board in all medias but maybe not.

Again, you got your news from the MSM.

The real numbers are the numbers Google has that they cannot hide, which is the global network distribution of viewers. Google cannot hide or alter that data because it is under commercial market control. The MSM uses the same number service they have always used and controlled since they started selling advertising, which is the Nielsen rating service. That service was created by a NYC democrat local politician, who officialy left politics to sell advertising ratings services. To this day, about 100 years later, it has always been a mystery how the Neilsen company actually gets the ratings data. I remember being a child wondering how they actually knew 3 million people were watching the Jefferson's when nobody was actually walking around counting people.

The actual number for Trump at the RNC was about half the World's population. The assassination attempt is officially the most watched event in human history because it has been distributed and copied over many times in all places on Earth, thanks to Starlink. And, that is provable and factual real data.

Ok that's good to know! Where do we get our hands on the actual numbers that google has under commercial market control?

Also a simple search in the internet explains how Nielsen gets their rating numbers. Very unreliable if you ask me.
