Looking for a playmate for my little buddy. Requirements: Pure blooded Mini Dachshund (No mixed breeds). Female Chocolate and Tan in color. (Not dapple as my current dog is a dapple and two dapples do not mix if we decide to let them have a litter in the future). Not looking to get on a 2 year waiting list or pay $1500-$3000 for a puppy. Anyone have any friends with litters or leads for anyone selling?

One of the best dogs I've ever had is our current miniature dachshund. Smartest one too. Got him 4 years ago from lighthouse puppies in Steele. Not sure of price now, but we paid something like $1200 for him then. Long haired, dapple, tri-color. She had a real nice set-up when we went there to pick him up. Not sure how it is now, but we were satisfied with the whole process and he's been healthy since day one. Good luck in your search.

I just lost my old buddy a couple of weeks after 15 years. I got him for the kids from Atchley’s Doxies in Skyline. I have no idea if she is still around but she was a good breeder that was reasonably priced.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
