The Boneyard Hunting Club, located near Randolph, AL in Bibb County, has a couple of openings for new members this year. The club has been in existence since 2014. We have 2127 contiguous acres with approximately 20 food plots, many with large shooting houses for family style hunting. Property is secured via locked gates. Land includes pine timber in various stages of growth, with some hardwood bottoms and SMZs. Traditionally we have limited our membership to 15 individuals, however, with the increased lease prices we’re expanding to 16 memberships. Deer herd management is important, and most practices have been in place for the past 10 years. Management has allowed our deer herd to flourish. Membership is $1850 per year. Please call Steve Collins at 205-410-3750 if you are interested.

One of the biggest bucks I have ever seen was in alabaster SHUT YOUR LYING MOUTH! Actually several of the biggest bucks I have ever seen were in Alabaster. Had a persimmon tree in our back yard and you wouldn't believe the bachelor groups I had back then. Saw a ten point that would score 150 or better. Unbelievable. They built too many houses around there and the bucks are probably gone now.

They built too many houses around there and the bucks are probably gone now. AND... now they are clearing off a huge section of land in the east side of hiway 17 to build more houses. That was a place where I had seen many deer crossing Hiway 17 but the habitat is gone now. I have lived here 40 yrs and this place is congested now.

We won’t have shucks in another 20 years especially if the suckers keep letting the Mexicans in by the millions.

All the deer left the area when the construction started. They probably moved to the mountainous regions of Pelham.

Two of the biggest bucks I ever saw were crossing hwy 17 in Alabaster. Used to work 4pm to 2 am and you wouldn't believe some of the bucks I saw driving home from work during the rut. I have shot a couple of 140 class bucks and know what they look like and the biggest two I saw were over 150 for sure. One was a perfect huge 10 with width and height, just a beautiful buck. Saw him two years in a row. The two best places are now developed though so not sure if there are any there now. Probably the buck I would see in my back yard for a couple of years. This was early 90's before they built the subdivisions across from Cedar Grove church. I still see lots of does, saw a small 8 last year and a spike.

Man there were some studs living around there back then. I still have some video of some of them. Had a bachelor group under my persimmon tree one night that had two ten points and three eight points. Biggest buck I have ever seen in my backyard.
