Won’t be ready opening day but it will give the turkeys and deer something else to eat. Plus might be a late season hunt area.

I’ve always thrown and not mowed or sometimes mowed my duck hole. I burned down and planted corn. Corn got about knee high and I threw out a bunch of different millets. It’ll go to seed quicker as the daylight starts to wane. Won’t produce as much per se usually.
Kinda like beans do. They realize less daylight every day and start producing more and more flowers. Bermuda will toned quicker when it’s stressed.
