Ohhhhhhh You Youngsters. I graduated from high school in '76......wanted a Ford F250 Highboy but it was too expensive. Fast Forward to 6 years ago bought one in decent shape.....body off restoration/paint. Modified 390 turning out a touch over 400 Horses. 4 Speed. 4.11 Gears. Old-Style 9.00-16 36" Grippers. She's BITCHIN'!! We need pics! Sounds like a great truck.

We had an old beaver slough on us that held good bucks. 75% of the guys in the club drove those fords. They’d pull up to my granddaddy’s shop buy a jug and send their dogs down to that slough. I’d walk around just in aw of the trucks.. pics post it up buckwheat

Memories like that are akin to the guns we shoot, music we listen to, etc. They are part of us. That's an awesome story!

I still have four. 1985 SR5 Ext cab, two 1988 single cabs and a 1989 single cab.
It takes a long time to grow an old friend.

Yup, not mine though. Thinking of doing it on my Frontier 4X4 someday though. I think it would really be the cat's a$$. Raptor liner is cheaper than Rino, you can apply it yourself and it's tough as nails. The truck we put together for my son.

I got a 65 Chevy step side my daddy drove in his 20’s, I love to have about $30k to throw at it. DO IT!I’d have to sale my left cod to be able to afford it… which I probably don’t need it anymore

I can't believe no one is talking about the old square body Scottsdales. Go to church with a guy that has a couple trucks short/long bed and some blazers

Only 1 mention of the old Ford 4x4 and the Scottsdales? No mention of dropping a 350 into a Chevy Love or the old small S10? No mention of the old Broncos? I figured we would have more three on a tree crowd. No mention of the Datsun B12 that Marty McFly had to have? How about the old Blazers that were like tanks and drank fuel like one?
