We lost our lease with Larson and Mcgowin this year due to a large trust fund they managed selling out. They did not tell us who the buyer was but I can't help but wonder if it is Weyerhaeuser after seeing this thread. Property was in Conecuh County between Evergreen and Andalusia. Yeah, I too have a Larson and McGowan lease in Escambia County that I’m worried about. Did you not get the option to lease with the new owner or did they just pull the plug? They just pulled the rug! Did not tell us who the new owner will be or give us an option to lease from new owners down the road. We were at $8.00 per acre which I know is on the low end for our area so I am sure the new owners will want to start substantially higher and probably thought it would be easier to do that with new clientele
