We’ve ran just about every all terrain and mud tire available with our work fleet. Our trucks are pretty much case studies for somebody who wants good dependable equipment that can also handle a LOT of time off-road in the south. However - I can’t help you - they are all pieces of crap We haven’t found a single tire that performs worth a crap in what we put them thru.

We’ve been through a good many, from second chance retreads to Toyos/BFG, and generally go through a set a year on 4 trucks, regardless of brand. We’ve landed on Hercules for the last couple/few sets and have been pleased from a performance and value standpoint. They are between dedicated mud and a/t tires and are used on highway, gravel and (sometimes muddy) turn rows their entire useful life. Four guys cover the state every 3 weeks from May - Nov checking traps around cotton.
experience is a freakin' awesome teacher....

I’ve been running them for a decade in the same type of conditions and they’ve been great. I get at 65-70K miles out of them.

I went K03’s, I’m not sure how many thousand I’ve run them, but they seem fine. I like the extra aggressiveness, this seems more in line with the older BFGs not the K02’s.

I sell them all. Up until recently I would say Ridge Grapplers. Ive ran them exclusively for several years. They are not what they used to be. They will last forever but, they will start to roar at around 25k regardless of rotation schedule. I'm replacing them left and right. KO2's as stated above have been difficult to balance lately. Recon Grapplers seem to be doing well. I have them on my sons truck. Toyo Open County AT3 seems to be the best out there right now. Balance well and relatively quiet. I sell 600 to 700 tires a month so this is real world experience I've been pleased with my Toyos. They started roaring after 50k. but that's still good for the miles I've gotten

I run Toyo Open Country AT3 on both of my GMC Sierra’s. They are really good tires for all around use.

Toyo AT3 second set in my f250. Got. A little over 55,000 miles in the last set. These are the bomb! Best tire on the market 50-60K on my Superduty every time

Falkens are worth a look, lots of people loving them on the trails.
I've had a couple of sets of Falken ATs and they are good tires, just not aggressive enough for what I need in the wet weather.

We can comment on Aldeer from orbit, but we can't figure out Tires ? My friend here wants to know if you have actually been to Tire College ? I’ve been told that it has to do with the tooling/mold. The older it gets, the more wear it has on it, and thus the tires coming off the older molds don’t turn out as well. New tooling/molds produce almost perfect tires, as there is no wear on it. Tire companies run their molds as long as the possibly can to maximize return on their investment. It’s just like in the aluminum, iron and steel casting businesses.

We have two currently running those, but most likely the lower rated tire. They haven’t performed well at all. But I’ll check and should definitely try the E-rated.

Running toyo at3's on my tacoma. If it's mainly highway use and some trails they are awesome. Low noise and hold to the road great. If offroad a lot then the toyo mt will be the way I go
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

The E Rated Ridge Grappler has been the best tire I've ever used in 40 years. Will need a set of tires to replace the OEM tires on my 23 Sierra 1/2 ton soon and will be getting Ridge Grapplers again.
