The corps land permits that have been free my entire life are now $15 this year....next year it'll be $17.25, 5 years from now it'll be $25, 10 years from now it'll be $50. Total BS. Burns me up. They are squeezing every possible nickel and dime out of us that they can.

Well…it sucks…but..still cheaper than a club or lease…,some people need that privacy…wether they are fat or old…or just genuinely suck at hunting…thats more like it…public land just aint for them. I hope they outlaw gun hunting…for just one season…we could remove the wheat from the chaff then

Best part of it all is that all that COE land was purchased using your tax dollars. Now you have to pay, to use land that your money bought. It's a great deal. Isn't it? No complaining allowed. Smile when you bend over and act like you enjoy it.

That's the familar refrain, ain't it? If you complain about the Corps increase, the bait permit, the night hunting permit, the license increase, the WMA permit increase, every other kind of increase -- then you're just a sorry POS who doesn't care about conservation.

It's just a latte or couple of six-packs. C'mon, now, pay THE MAN your fair share for the land you've already paid for.

It's easier every year to understand why people say "Eff the government" and don't buy licenses or permits.


BTW, the "bait permit privilege" fee probably will increase again this year if it hasn't already, and it definitely will next year.
