Sunday used to be the best day to go. I will probably take my grandson this weekend. His dad is out of town.

I do have it on good info that thy will have 17 ft Milleniums for sale about $100 off( my friends and I bought 40). They have some left and will have some other "sponsor" merchandise at pretty deep discounts all weekend.
The ole saying " they would rather sell it than load it back up" holds pretty true. See yall at the merchandise booth.

Any tips on the best places to park? Last year we parked in the lot next to the Biscuits stadium. Wasn’t bad but just wondering if there is a better option?

Thanks

When your spouse works there you get to participate in the pre-sale. They have plenty left- believe me.

Downtown Montgomery is fine. Several parking decks and places along the roads. Obviously make sure you lock your doors. I won’t be going this year.

We went and took 5yo grandson today and he had a good time. Got inside every shooting house, played with some turkey calls (actually did pretty good!), climbed on a tractor and a jeep, spun some wheels for some goodies, and blew a duck and goose calls. He was wiped out and was asleep before we got out of the parking deck. Bumped into some good buddies that I usually see there and even reconnected with a good duck hunting buddy from West Point MS that I haven’t seen in several years. Saw a frat bro who used to run the targets for the archery tourney was roped into doing it this year.

As usual, Mrs. Bamaeyedoc gets all the attention (and my handsome grandson)! One of the guys said if I brought her out for a couples antelope hunt she could hunt for free!! 😂 May have to see if he’s serious! Another guy at a booth was like “Well hello Raquel!” 😂 She’s gracious and takes it all in stride and has a good time with it! Managed to make it out with only buying a couple of shirts from American Strutter for gifts and some Cracker Boy and Shugs seasoning.

It was a good way to spend about 2 hours this afternoon.

I bought a millennium two man ladder stand and a pop up blind there yesterday. Really good prices.

I meant to go back and get a Rhino mossy oak pop up blind but we had a 5yo that was starving and tired and I simply forgot.

Ive had the biggest laugh with Buckmasters, I went a few years ago and signed my buddy up at every chance. He started telling me “I dont know why Buckmasters keeps hounding me, I didnt go and havent had any contact with them” I would just shake my head and say those sumbitches!! It took him 2-3 years to finally get them to stop calling……
