I heard it's Soterra land from one person and that it's Boykin land from another person. Both did say it's in SW Alabama, north of Mobile. Clark Co. etc. Last I knew, Boykins controlled around 100k acres with almost all of that being located in Mobile and Washington counties. Could be them, but if it is, they would be liquidating almost all of their timberland holdings, most likely with the exception of their family estate just north of McIntosh. I doubt seriously that they are involved in this deal.
