I was all ready to defend Hoover High's Coaches for being physical with players. Back in the day it was nothing for a coach to drag us around by our facemask, push us down, slap us across the head, cuss us out, etc. And we love them to this day for helping us become men. We all talk of fond memories of our high school coaches even though it was brutal. For one, those helmets in the video are not strapped down tight, they are loose. No way a coach can take a helmet off that easy. Ripping those helmets off is not over the line for me, or pushing them down.

But the acts of humping a player's head while he is on the ground like he is giving the coach head is way across the line for me. That coach needs to be fired.

Josh Niblett never would have done anything like that. He was one of my coaches in school.

Humping a players head is a little extreme(suspended 3-4 games) but the parents making this a lawsuit is way over the line. What sissy kid cried to his parnets about this anyway?

I knew I wasn't about being coached in High School. Ahole coach walked between us as we were doing situps. He'd bounce a basketball of an occasional head. He did it to me. I took the ball and hit him in the nuts with it as hard as I could. It was a whirlwind after that. My punishment was picking up trash around the smoke pit for a few days. I smoked while I was doing it and enjoyed the break. Never saw the coach do it again. I'm thinking when the admin heard he'd been doing it to others they threatened to can his arse. I never tattled and my grandparents never knew about it.

I don't think the kid probably said anything. A parent filming witnessed it and took the initiative to action. The kid probably wishes they could hide in a hole and disappear.

If it was my kid, I wouldn't pursue a lawsuit, but would probably wind up in one. Me or him one would be headed to the hospital.

Guys. The family had a lawyer already set up. This whole thing is about $$$. I am totally against this behavior simply because the coach was acting like a dumb teenager and those players will never respect him. I wouldn’t have sued anyone but there would have been a man to man sit down and there would have been a big apology. And No Josh Nibblet would have never done something like this! Truly a Godly man right there!

But this is all about money!!!!!! The family wants money!!!!!

Technically, that's a sexual assault and that coach should have to go on the registry.
