I have about 30 or so skull mounts hung on nails stuck thru the spinal column hole on the wall at the camp. I use a sharpie and write the date, weight and location (Patch name, tract name, etc.) on the upper palate. I have used that method in the past, most of them I can remember the date and location where it was killed.....I also have pictures of each one, so it's documented pretty good.....

More for reference, but then other people could figure out which ones are mine.
