Thanks I’ll check the turtle skins out. Snake boots are just too hot climbing these hills for me. I’ve wore out a couple of pairs but not being able to find a waterproof pair, I’ve been done with snake boots last couple of years.

I hate to be the guy to bring the thread back on topic😁. But 2 questions. Are gaiters actually any cooler than snake boots and do you not worry about snake protection on your feet. A lot of snake boots are just leather on the feet anyway.
