Sitting out on the porch this fine afternoon. As the sun got way out of sight and darkness had fallen, I heard the shot ring out. Truck with loud exhaust sped away, pretty sure I know where they were… they could at least wait till bow season.. No they can’t. Those kind of people have no regard for anything most of us appreciate. Most of them don’t care about anything but fulfilling their selfish appetites. Seasons are suggestions. Laws are made to be broken.

Could have been someone shooting a rattlesnake or a coyote crossing the road. You never know. Yea maybe in your hood, people usually catch rattlesnakes and take em to church over here…. Coyotes ain’t hanging around long enough to get shot at while crossing the road at night…

Got tired of hearing the gun shots at dark, and the GW wouldn't do nothing to the locals, but you/we better have a Baiting permit by Gawdddd 😄

And yet you can buy a permit to shoot coyotes and hogs at night, I’m sure no one’s shooting deer at night When I worked for the state I gathered most folks willing to shoot a deer at night or out of season are also not going to obtain a permit for killing nuisance wildlife. Most of the permit holders are actually trying to do the right thing and aren’t going to shoot a deer. Are there exceptions? Always in everything. I don’t think many of them are shooting deer on coyote or hog permits though.
