I'll bow hunt in shorts and short sleeves if I got to. One of the best deer I shot I was wearing white tennis shoes. Wife was sitting in a double ladder with me and talking the whole time.

To each their own! But I've never had no desire to kill velvet Buck deers, and i've had plenty of opportunities to do just that.....

When I was young I hunted the Glades during archery and it was oppressively hot and humid with lots of bugs. Couldn’t sit too long that time of year or during muzzleloader season. Mosquitoes were bad.

Hell, I won't even hunt in South Bama in November/December when it warms up. Just not enjoyable.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
