I like the Carhartt coat I hunt with but on really cold days I need something warmer. I bought a Sitka fanatic stratus but I HATED the cross zipper. What does Aldeer recommend?

Sitka Duck Oven is the warmest for light weight and less bulk.
For the $, Cabala's Wooltimate with windshear.

The fanatic has the side zipper and I’m not a fan either. Sitka has a new gradient jacket with 200 grams of thermal loft insulation that I would try. I’ve got the 100 gram version of that jacket that is surprisingly warm.

Ive gotten to where I wear my coveralls when it’s cold. I can strip off if I get hot. I do have some old oversized gore tex jackets I wear sometimes though.
