i’ve tried everything under the sun for “bottoms” and my legs will NOT stay warm when it’s below 30. wool, silk, drake, under armor long john’s, sweat pants. every combo under the sun plus whatever thick out layer i could find. i’ve gone in with just carhartts on and then added the bulky stuff convinced i was sweating which was doing it, nope. looking at the first lite coldest pants or the sitka cold weather stuff. taking opinions
drake thermals, normal pants and a $100 coveralls from walmart 10 years ago is as good as i can get it. finally said hell with it and started taking the smallest propane heater i could find

Honestly never heard of this issue before in our neck of the woods. I have certainly heard plenty of cold feet complaints but never legs. Maybe a circulation problem honestly might want to get checked out.
Wearing your Sitka fashion show getup ain't gonna help. Bank on that.
If you are wearing insulated Carharts with something like fleece pants as a mid-layer then a base layer and still getting cold talk to your doctor. I'd sweat my ass off in that I know I only wear that when it's below 20.

I hunt with 2 Sitka fashion show participants. I think one of them doesn't own anything that doesn't say either Yeti somewhere on it or Sitka. He's one of my best buddies but looks like a complete douche. Keep telling him he needs to get the Squat going on his truck to complete his "look."
Every morning when we are heading out I tell him... "Man... you look like a complete Douche in that."
At least he is honest that he gets cold and wet a lot.
I also tell him he has a small penis and the fatter he gets the harder it is going to be to find. That's how you know a couple guys are gonna be friends for life. I hope everyone here is lucky enough to have hunting buddies like me no matter what you are wearing or how many .243's you've got in the closet.

Tote these to where you are going to sit and then put them on. If you get cold then you have a physical problem that needs to be addressed. As far as a fashion statement-I could care less. These keep me warm no matter what the weather. They are very expensive but they are great in Illinois when the temps bottom out and great in Bama when it is in the upper 20's. Dont get the bow hunting jacket if getting the set. The zipper is curved to allow for the bow string to not come into contact with it. Get the jacket that has the straight zipper.
I can't stand a thief.
