My little buddy from several hunts ago is preparing to go to heaven. Many remember my stories of the Life Hunt and all we do for these kids and their families. TJ's hunt was one for the books, he made a great shot on this huge Alabama buck but the buck left little blood with torrential downpour of rains after the shot. Ada vom Freda Haus tracked the buck to a large deep creek. She kept entering the creek in the same spot and we decided the buck died in the creek and sank. I tied a ribbon on a tree where Ada kept entering the water and they were able to find his buck the next morning downstream with just a hoof visible sticking out of the water. Well Tj's mother texted me to let me know TJ is preparing to go to heaven and asked me if I would be a pallbearer. Guys and gals this will be one of the toughest things I do but all because of a Deutsch-Drahthaar I got to meet and spend some time with the toughest kid I know. I say all that to say this, please do not neglect the fact that we as hunters are a special group we all should give back someway and somehow. You never know the impact you and a bearded dog may have on someones life.

It isn't necessary to see a good tackle...you can hear it.
